An aluminum composite panel is light weight, rigid, bendable and durable aluminum faced composite panel well acknowledged as an interior and exterior wall cladding material in commercial and institutional buildings in various parts of the world. It offers flexibility in design through a wide variety of fabrication techniques from straight panels to curves, angles and pan configurations. The Aluminium Composite panel is made out of two Aluminium skins, which are precoated and thermally bonded to each side of non-toxic polyethylene core. Adhesion achieved by combination of chemical and mechanical actions, thereby providing exception resistance to de-lamination.
The outer Aluminium skin is pre-coated with PVDF 70/30 polyvinylidene fluoride coating, which is the most advance coating used in building sector because of its excellent stability over the time in all respect. Whereas the inner aluminum skin is pre-coated with a service coat to protect the inner skin from either alkali attack from cement or galvanic corrosion from steel. ACP has distinct advantages over other conventional cladding materials such as solid aluminum, granite and steel with better strength to weight ratio, flatness, thermal and acoustic properties. Besides above, wide color choice, ease in fabrication, quickness in installation and economy in cost. ACP an idea material choice of Architects, façade designers and builders.
At Hitech we use various fabrication techniques to fabricate Aluminium Composite Panels. It is recommended to do most of the fabrication work in the workshop to minimize defects, exercise overall quality control and to attain high level of accuracy. If fabrication needs to be carried on at site we need to ensure that the work is carried on using correct table, tools, necessary precautions and skilled trained labour. |
